35 years of Chemicals Industry from all perspectives - this could be an appropriate summary of my professional career to date. Building on a profound commercial education with subsequent studies in business administration, I know the chemicals industry and its value chain from almost all angles - each with many years of specialist and management experience. Whether from Sales Manager to Purchasing Manager or from Supply Chain Manager to Managing Director, I have successfully "changed sides" several times and have repeatedly gained new and valuable experience. As a Board Member and Global Business Director of world leading manufacturers of specialty chemicals, I have been able to experience and help shape the full range of companies, from middle-market companies to multinational global players. This has had a decisive impact on me and has also strengthened my desire to work as an independent consultant, sparring partner and coach.

The crucial competence that I have acquired over the course of my intensive commitment in the above-mentioned professional stations is my holistic approach, which I now contribute to my consultancy. Value-adding strategic corporate development and the improvement of increasingly digitalized supply chains characterize my track record over the past 20 years. Through the appreciative involvement of employees, I am able to form cross-departmental and powerful teams driving the success of the company. In doing so, I can count on my leadership skills and my distinctive process thinking sharpened by 30 years of practical experience in SAP. The successful implementation of a growth strategy driven by innovation and internationalization is as familiar to me as the optimization of supply chain structures in customer service, planning, logistics and strategic purchasing. Mergers & Acquisitions - connecting companies and cultures

Over the course of my role as Managing Director of a mid-sized but worldwide acting manufacturer of adhesives and sealants, I accompanied in responsible function 3 changes of ownership and the associated sales processes as well as the subsequent integrations. Additionally I have been multiple times strongly involved in the management and implementation of company acquisitions - always with a watchful eye not to neglect cultural differences during the integration. Furthermore, I have gained a 20-year-experience in the collaboration with American investors, 8 years of it as member of the Global Board of the corporate parent. You can confide in my competence in the range of Mergers & Acquisitions - I am well acquainted with the complete process, from target search to post-merger integration.

 

Coaching - unfolding employees' potential 

My longtime leadership responsibility for over 400 employees combined with my motivating communication style enable me to encourage specialists and executives as well as teams and prepare them for complex future tasks. My further training as a certified systemic coach supports me in this. Professional business coaching is very close to my heart – be it the development of talents and executives or the support of teams in times of upheaval.

 

My ability to a goal-driven, confident collaboration with employee representations in the context of implementing change management processes completes my profile. Beyond that, my language skills and intercultural competences allow me successful consulting and coaching activities in an international context.
